Animals are not Merchandise
We support the protest campaign started by the web site http://sahibindencomboykot.blogspot.com against the site www.sahibinden.com where pet animals are sold like tradable goods. We are against animals to be reproduced for trade purposes and for them to be regarded as merchandise. Furthermore, in a country like Turkey, where the shelters are full of animals dumped by their owners, adoption from shelters should be promoted. We wish Müge Seymen, the owner of the site www.sahibinden.com to help rehome animals at shelters rather than promoting reproduction of animals for trade purposes.
