SHKD
ekibi Tavşanlı kasabasını toplam beş kere ziyaret etti. 7 Mayıs’taki son gidişimizde toplam 194 kısırlaştırma operasyonu yapıldı, bunların 192’si köpek,
2 tanesi ise kediydi. Ameliyat edilen 159 dişi köpeğin 67’si bir yaşından, 84
tanesi 3 yaşından küçük, 47 tanesi de 3 yaşından büyüktü. Köpekler genellikle
sağlıklıydı, gençlik hastalığı ve parva görülmedi. Üç köpek SHKD barınağına
getirildi. Bunlardan biri küçük irk bir terrierdi ve sahiplendirildi, diğer
ikisinin ise bir bacağı ampute edildi.
Böylece beş ziyaretin sonunda Tavsanlı’da
toplam 995 köpek kısırlaştırılmış oldu.

FIVE TIMES AT TAVSANLI
SHKD team has visited Tavşanlı a town
in the city of Kütahya located in Egean
area five times to neuter and release dogs in the town. The visits were
done upon invitation of the municipality of Tavşanlı. In our last trip on May
7, a total of 194 neutering operations were done of which 192 are dogs and
remaining 2 are cats. Out of 159 female dogs operated 67 were less than one
year old, 84 were less than 3 years old and 47 were older than 3. Dogs were
generally healthy, no sign of distemper or parva was diagnosed. Three dogs were
brought to SHKD shelter in Istanbul, one a small terrier which is already rehomed,
the other two are amputated on one leg and stay at SHKD shelter.
After 5 visits to TAvsanli, a total of
995 dogs were neutered and released.
