Yüzbin Kere “Hayir”- A Thousand Times “No”

Yüzbin kere “Hayır”  

Bugün önemli bir gündü. Türkiye’de 11 ayrı ilde yüzbinlerce kişi hayvanlar için yürüdü.  Sadece Istanbul’daki yürüyüşüne 10.000 kişi katıldı. Beyoğlu Galatasaray Lisesi önünde toplanan kalabalık üç saatte Taksim’e varabildi. Yürüyüşün tek bir örgütün önderliğinde olmayışı, birçok hayvan hakları derneğinin ve bireylerin kendi pankart ve sloganlarıyla katılmış olması güzeldi.  Her yaştan, cinsiyetten, meslekten binlerce kisi hayvanlara ölüm fermanı olan yasayı protesto ettiler.

Türkiye’de ilk defa  insanlar, hayvanlar için böyle büyük bir eylem gerçekleştirdiler. Ilk defa, güçlü bir sesle, “artık yeter” diye haykırdılar. Hayırsız Ada utancının yeniden yasanmasına izin vermeyeceklerini söylediler.

Artik kimseyi “dogal yaşam parkı”na götürüyoruz diye kandıramayacaklar. Rezil barınaklarınızda hayvanlara nasıl zulum ettiğinizi herkes biliyor.

Hayvanlarımızı vermeyeceğiz.

A Thousand times "No" 

Today was a big day.  In Turkey, thousands of people marched for animals in 11 cities of Turkey.  10.000 people attended the protest march in Istanbul. The big group which gathered by Beyoğlu Galatasaray Lisesi walked to Taksim in three hours. It was nice that the march was not leaded by one organization but many of them and single individuals joined with their own slogans and placards. Thousands of  people of various ages, genders and professions protested the law that is a death penalty for animals.

It is the first time that people in Turkey organize such a big demonstration for animals. It is the first time that they shouted, “Enough is enough” together with a strong voice. They declared that they will not let another Hayirsizada massacre to take place.

They can’t  deceive us any more by saying they are taking our animals to “natural life parks”. Everybody know how you torture animals in your horrible shelters.

We will not give our animals.
